APPLICATION FORMS

An application form, must be completed and returned (mailed or faxed) to the Association’s head office in Fourways. All applications for membership are considered by the Executive Committee of SABOA at its bi-monthly meetings. Four categories of membership are available: 1 - Principal membership for bus and coach operators 2 - Associate membership for suppliers to the industry 3 - International membership 4 - Affiliated transport association members The decision of the Executive Committee regarding such applications is final and the result is conveyed to the applicant in writing. The following criteria are required in order to qualify for membership: Completed application form Signed copy of the SABOA Code of Conduct Payment of membership fee. If the application is not approved the fee          will be refunded minus a R50.00 administration fee New entrants into the industry can also apply for membership provided          that they can provide proof of having applied for a permit or operating          license Particulars of the fees payable to the Association can be obtained from the SABOA offices.
